ATTD Podcast: Advancing Medical Innovation in Diabetes Care

See how Cue partnered with ATTD to produce an official medical podcast, sharing diabetes tech and clinical research with a global audience.

How do you connect world-leading endocrinologists, researchers, and medical technology pioneers outside the annual conference hall? In partnership with Kenes Group and the Advanced Technologies & Treatments for Diabetes (ATTD) association, Cue Productions helped develop and produce the official ATTD Podcast. By combining medical expertise with high-spec remote audio engineering, we turned cutting-edge diabetes care discussions into an accessible year-round resource for the global medical community.

The Brief

The ATTD international conference is a premier global event where clinicians, researchers, and innovators gather to discuss breakthroughs in continuous glucose monitoring, automated insulin delivery, and digital health. However, keeping this international community engaged between annual events required a dedicated digital channel.

Kenes Group and ATTD needed a professional audio series to explore emerging diabetes technologies, patient management strategies, and clinical guidelines. Featuring international hosts and guest speakers from across Europe, the US, and beyond, the project demanded a reliable technical workflow capable of managing varied remote setups while maintaining broadcast-level clarity.

How We Made It Work: Engineering Year-Round Medical Audio

To ensure the podcast reflected the high standards of the ATTD association, Cue delivered an end-to-end post-production pipeline tailored to scientific communications.

We focused on:

  • Cross-Border Audio Restoration: Because global key opinion leaders recorded from clinical offices, homes, and university departments, raw audio files varied in quality. We established clear pre-recording guidelines and applied advanced post-production cleanup to remove room echo, background noise, and line dropouts.
  • Structuring Technical Dialogue: Medical technology discussions often involve dense data and complex clinical terms. We assisted in structuring episode frameworks that guided guest speakers from technical research highlights directly to practical clinical applications.
  • Bespoke Sonic Branding: We created a modern, professional audio package with clean transitions and subtle musical beds that reflected the innovative, tech-forward focus of the diabetes care sector.
  • Turnkey Production Pipeline: From initial file handling and multi-mic balancing to narrative editing and final mastering, Cue managed the technical workflow so the ATTD editorial team could focus on scientific accuracy and expert guest curation.

The Results

The ATTD Podcast successfully established itself as an essential year-round knowledge hub for the global diabetes community.

  • Year-Round Community Connection: Extended the reach of the annual ATTD conference into a continuous, year-round dialogue for international healthcare professionals.
  • Global Accessibility: Provided a flexible, on-the-go format for busy clinicians and researchers to stay up to date on new technologies and clinical guidelines.
  • Consistent Broadcast Standard: Uniformly elevated remote recordings from around the world to ensure every episode met professional broadcast quality.

What Listeners Love

Healthcare professionals appreciate the focus on practical clinical utility. Rather than dense academic lectures, each episode delivers concise, well-paced discussions on how new technologies, devices, and treatments directly improve patient outcomes in daily practice.

Driving Health Tech Engagement Through Audio

For Cue, the ATTD Podcast demonstrates how specialised medical audio production can keep international scientific communities connected, and engaged between major global events. Conference conversations should not end when the exhibition hall closes. By turning complex medical technology research into an accessible podcast, we helped ATTD build a year-round platform for global innovation in diabetes care.
