How do you take cutting-edge paediatric infectious disease research and deliver it directly into the hands of healthcare professionals around the globe? In partnership with the World Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases (WSPID), Cue Productions helped launch and produce the official WSPID Podcast. By combining academic rigour with accessible audio engineering, we turned complex clinical discussions into an engaging, globally distributed educational series.
The World Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases (WSPID) brings together global experts dedicated to preventing and treating infectious diseases in children. With a global membership spanning researchers, clinicians, and healthcare advocates, WSPID needed a digital channel that could bridge the gap between heavy academic publications and practical, everyday clinical application.
The goal was to build a clean, authoritative, and easily digestible podcast series. The show needed to feature leading international voices discussing critical issues such as vaccine equity, antimicrobial resistance, and emerging global infections, all while maintaining high technical standards across recordings made in various international environments.
Producing an educational show for a global medical audience requires a balance of scientific accuracy, clarity, and seamless remote production.
We focused on:
The WSPID Podcast successfully established itself as an accessible educational resource for the global paediatric medical community.
Medical professionals appreciate the clarity and direct clinical utility of every episode. By stripping away academic jargon and focusing on actionable insights, the series allows busy doctors, nurses, and global health workers to absorb critical updates during their commutes or breaks between shifts.
For Cue, the WSPID Podcast demonstrates how specialised, educational audio production can help international organisations expand their reach, making vital research accessible to those who need it most.
Science communications should not be confined to heavy journals. By giving global paediatric health experts a clear, high-quality audio platform, we helped WSPID turn vital medical research into actionable insights for practitioners anywhere in the world.
